My DeviantART Story

So a few years back I was in a pretty bad place. After an abusive relationship, soul destroying job and almost constant pain from a bad car crash, I had a "super happy fun mind go byebye time!". I think the Doc called it a mental breakdown. Will spare the poop details and flash forward about 18months. I met someone who encouraged me to start drawing again. I wasnt sure but i started to look around online and i found DA! So many pretties! I think the first thing i put up after joining was a little icon I made for a competition for The Fancy Narwhal. I'm not sure i've ever been so "ART BUSY" in my life and there is nothing i can show of it yet! On top of the project with ~sebcarey (https://www.deviantart.com/sebcarey) I'm also toying with writing a book called "How to cope with grief using Lego and Whiskey" but its usually after alot of the latter that i think thats a goos idea. Busy busy busy. Keep the mind busy!

Long time ago....

So nearly a year since I wrote my last journal. Last Christmas infact. The first hand operation was a complete non success. Still have the aches and pains when i try to draw added to a new weakness thats come about since the Op. Poo. Managed a few scrappy drawings but nothing detailed. Which is a shame since I really need to update my Mr. Flibble pic on my page. Still posting up the DSC's over at Outcast and the DA group even though I usually cant join in. Oddly I seem ok doing digital colouring. I mean it still hurts but not as quickly and not as much. So i've been doing lots more of that and trying to improve and learn new skills.

I saw you know Kill la Kill so there is a webcomic you should see

''HELLGASM SLAUGHTER'' is a webcomic that i ramdomly found on TAPAS a webcomic publishing site, by writing demon girl in search bar which look like some kind of kill la kill/ devilman/evangelion fusion, telling the story of the devil of pride Belial who fight hell and heaven armies to become the new ruler of the cosmos, you could like her cause she's kinda similar to Ryuuko from Kil La Kill and there a lot of stuff about hell and its 13 circles. The story is full of dark humor and bloody fight with funny insane characters, the big bad is obviously inspired from Ragyo.

PS: take time to read cause there are lots details which can be easily missed sometimes (particulary in fights)
